Class time: 60 minutes, once a week Watch as your child learns to dance ...and dance with beauty joy and praise in our adoring Petite Praisers program for ages 4-7. Let them praise his name in dance in this an age specific combined 60 minute class that introduces the young dancer to the biblical significance of dance, creative worship movement vocabulary, the beauty of ballet, and the joy of jazz. The purpose of the class is to introduce young dancers to different types of dance and inspire expressive worship movement and creativity in a Christ-centered environment. The use of fun, age appropriate music engages the young dancers’ creative spirits, minds and bodies. The use of props and worship tools such as flags, streamers and tambourines makes the class joyful and worshipful! We have found that this "combination" of techniques helps to keep the kids excited, interested, and focused with an emphasis on using movement and dance to show our love for Jesus. For the Petite Praisers Level I (4-6), students must be 4 years old by Sept 1. Petite Praisers II (6-7) years old, students must be 6 years old by Sept 1. Attire: Grace blue or black colored leotard, pink/tan tights, pink leather ballet shoes, tan leather jazz shoes for jazz. BOYS: white shirt, black shorts, black ballet shoes, back jazz shoes. A4TH dancers are required to wear A4TH Attire. We require A4TH dance uniformity in the class. The children love it!! |
